eBAY AND KEEN.cOM FORM EXCLUSIVE THREE-YEAR RELATIONSHIP

KeenSpeakers to be integrated into eBay community

eBay, Inc. and Keen.com today announced an exclusive three-year agreement to integrate Keen.com, the first Live Answer CommunityTM, into key areas of eBay, the world's leading person-to-person online trading community. The integration is intended to make it more convenient for eBay's 12 million users to contact Keen.com's members and get live answers about many topics, including trading and collectibles.

Keen.com is a web site where people with questions talk to people with answers live over the phone. Keen.com's members simply browse the list of topics on Keen.com and find the right person to answer a question. Keen.com automatically connects the parties for a live, private telephone conversation. Because Keen.com initiates the call, personal information and telephone numbers are never disclosed.

Under the terms of the exclusive agreement, eBay members will have convenient access to the Keen.com site and KeenSpeakers (Keen.com members who are available to provide information) from numerous areas on eBay.com. For example, eBay buyers will have the ability to get live answers from Keen.com members about how to evaluate specific collectibles, proven bidding strategies or how to configure a computer purchased on eBay. eBay sellers will be able to earn additional income by giving tips on strategies they have fine tuned on eBay.

"I am already a successful seller on eBay and I have a number of great tips that I can share with other eBay users through Keen.com," said Dave Gambrill who is a member of both the Keen.com and eBay communities and goes by the screen name of Gambrill. "Now I can share my knowledge with my fellow eBay users and earn extra money as well."

Karl Jacob, president and CEO of Keen.com said, "We respect and admire the vibrant, global trading community that eBay has built. We believe Keen.com can provide eBay's buyers and sellers with access to a marketplace of answers, just as they now have access to a marketplace for merchandise."

Keen.com also announced that Jeff Skoll, eBay's vice president of strategic planning and analysis, will join the Keen.com board of directors. "eBay and Keen.com share a common vision of creating a trading community in which people are empowered to make a living, make friends, share information and improve their lives," said Jeff.

About Keen.com

Quality information exchanges are ensured through Keen.com's consumer based rating system and credential verification service. Keen.com received its first round funding from Benchmark Capital and its second round came just 60 days after its launch with investments from well-known investors such as Integral Capital, Vulcan Ventures, eBay, Inktomi and Microsoft.
